The Blind

The movie focuses on the life of blind people.

We feature an old man sitting on a stair on a railway junction, we play train sound in the background. We zoom into his eyes. 

We get into a flashback.

We show him among ten people who are waiting in a station. He sells Sundal there. He says

Sir சூடனா சுண்டல் masala சுண்டல்..

Sir எவலோ sundal. One person with a newspaper in his hand asks. - Sundaram

20 sir

He gets out the sundal box fills it on a paper cone and gives it.

He gets the money. Reads the sign language for a check and puts it inside his pocket.

Suddenly he hears his dog bark near him. It is barking continuously without a stop.

The blind man feels something has fallen near him. He feels the hot sundal on his feet. He senses something is abnormal.

He keeps hand on the floor and says "sir what happened". He finds a new paper. He finds the date to be a past one. Nearly 5 days back.

Suddenly people around him call an ambulance and get the person to the hospital.

The blind man continues to sell sundal. But his mind is unsettling due to his friend's situation. He wants to know more about it. He gets home and finds the newspaper dated five days back from the rack of newspapers and reads it page by page. He finds the news of his friend Sundaram's supermarket store getting closed, due to a clash of power among his sons.

He remembers Sundaram speaking about his three sons. 

Alarms sounds. It's night. He goes to sleep. But he couldn't get proper sleep. He is disturbed. He switches on his hand radio.

He switches channels to news - சென்னையில் வெயில் வெளுத்துவாங்கி கொண்டிருக்கும் நிலையில் நாளை மறுநாள் மிதமான வெயில் எதிர்பார்க்க படுகிறது.

தற்போதைய செய்தி - Sundaram எனப்படுகிர Sundaram Stores MD, உடல் நலக்குறைவால் அப்பல்லோ மருத்துவமையில் அனுமதிக்கப் பட்டுள்ளார். இவர் தன் சொந்த ஊரான ஈரோடிற்கு செல்ல ரயில் நியலத்தில் காத்துக்கொண்டிருந்தபோது.. மயக்கம் அடைத்தார். அப்போது அருகே இருந்த ரயில்வே போலீஸ் அவரை அப்பல்லோ மருத்துவமையில் அனுமதித்தனார்.

இந்த நிலையில்..

The dog starts barking. He switches off the radio. The dog goes to sleep as well as our hero.

The next day Sundaram reaches police station.

Police - Hey man, what is your complaint.

I have come regarding Sundaram sir case

Must be valid evidence. Check with the inspector.

Ins - Say.

I found this pin in the paper that I used for giving Sundal.

Sundaram must have written it to remember it later.

There must be some important information related to him.

So thought of giving you sir.

Ins - Why didn't you give it on the same day of this incident. Why is this delay.?

I found this in my home. I was talking to my dog about how helpful Sundaram was. He gave me a paper in my hand. It was the paper of paper cone I used to sell sundal with. My dog usually collects all the wastepaper cones and puts them inside the dustbin. But it wasn't in Sundaram's case. It must have carried with him to my house, Siva says. 

Okay. We will see.

The next day our hero gets back home from his work.

Sundram case'யில் ஒரு முக்கிய திருப்பம்.

Sundaram திணமும் பயணிக்கும் ரயிலில் சுண்டல் விக்கும் கண் தெரியாத நபர் குடுத்த செய்தி.

இவர் தந்த சாட்சி லாக்கர் ஒன்றின் பின் என போலீஸ் விசாரணையில் தெரிய வந்துள்ளது.

ஆதில் இருக்கும் உயிலில் சுந்தரம் ஆனைத்து  சொத்துகளையும்

அரசாங்கத்திற்கு எழுதி வைக பட்டு உள்ளது.

அதில் கால் பங்கு அவருடன் திணமும் பேசும் ரயில் நிலையத்தில் சுண்டல் விர்க்கும் Siva என்பவருக்கு தர வேண்டும் எனவும் குறிப்பிட  பட்டுள்ளது.

இவர் மகன்கள், குடும்ப சண்டைகள் ஒருவரை ஒருவர் கொலை செய்து கொண்டது குறிப்பிடத்தக்கது.

Hearing this the hero plans to buy food for his dog, and to buy an area and recreate iconic Sundaram Stores.
