Why watch Anora.?

It sets the mood at the first frame. The film showcases the life of a bar dancer, it shows a group of dancers who are performing the dance, this alone gives the audience time to decide the flavour of the film and decide to stop or continue.

It hides nothing. It shows the audience what is considered private moments, we usually see these on the middle or second half of a film, meaning it explores the life of common people. Here they explore life of someone who does this for money, so there is no emotional arc required for this to happen.

When physical relationship transcends to emotional relationship, love, the plot becomes exciting. But before power and money, can truth withstand is a testament for love.

Is love real? It speaks on how a man comes into Anora's life who would see her beyond her physicality. But what if this is unreal that does not agree on money but on words and promises, commitment. Here it resembles real life scenario, but tweaked, a physical first and a developing relationship on love, that slowly reveals its true color.

It debates on true disgrace. Anora a person who in a job where she reveals her physically tries to reveal her mentally. But the true disgrace is when someone who hides his true intentions, the emotional blackmail for temporary pleasures when money and power can't favour.

Anora's fight for her opinions to be heard, gender equality, every question hits us to think deep. Blended with comedy the film speaks about true courage, resilience on contradictory where it is associated with men more than women from generic movies.

How true love reveals itself.? In the second half she meets another person who cares about her, stands by her. But she is still not ready to believe someone again. She even tests the person to lure him physically to expose the persons true intentions. When he is not that, she finally falls for him.

The frame speaks, every frame speaks more than what is talked, from humour to debatable questions.
