Jiivi - A Full Review

Jiivi - A Tamil crime investigation thriller.

Full Review:

A movie about how karma in the past affects us in the present. A gripping story.

The hero from a middle class family in village comes to Chennai for a job. There he meets mani who works on the same tea shop. The hero notes that their owner has jewels for her daughter's marriage. The owner's daughter is blind and the owner's (lady) husband is paralysed. The hero and his friend who are in need of money try to steal the jewels. The hero is  an intelligent guy. The same time he steals the jewels the hero's father dies in his village as his daughter goes out of the house and marries a person. The hero in his village hides the jewels in his home. When he returns to Chennai, he meets the house owner and get to know that the owner (lady's) father passed away as they came out from house and married. When the hero knows it he realises that the same thing happened in his family. i.e. when his sister gone out from her house his father passed away. He understands that there is some connection between what happened in both of their families. He talks with the Owner's brother - Karthi. The brother says that the hero's friend mani looks same as his friend who was found dead in a railway track. Karthi also says about where his friend lived. The hero visits that place and finds out that karthi (owner's brother) and his friend who were working on a wood company planned and have stolen some jewelry from the rich family. And they planned to accuse Murugan, an innocent man working in the rich family. 

The hero reaches the rich family house for further investigation. There he finds a photo in which he finds his mother and father in it. 

He reaches his house which is nearby and asks his mom about the photo. She says that their family was once a join family and a rich family. When his father supported Murugan that he is not the accust. He and his family were asked to leave the rich family. Thus they went to nearby town and lived a middle class life.

Knowing this the hero understands that when he stole jewels from the owner's house it is because to balance the Karma when the house owner's brother stealed Jewels from the hero's house in the past. 

When Karthi stealed Jewels the hero's family came out from the rich house and suffered many loses.

This is made equal when the House owner's jewels saved for the marriage of her daughter is stealed by the hero. Which resulted the owner's family to struggle.

The hero understands that this cycle will continue until it reaches a middle point, means the Karma is made equal. So he marries the blind daughter of the Owner. As he was the reason for stopping the daughter's marriage as he stole her jewels. He doesn't want to get affected by this karma. So he marries her and makes the Karma to not affect him in future. 

The jewels inturn goes in hands to Murugan's Son's family when Mani accidentally misses the bag in a bus and is left with the same type of another person's (Murugan's Family) bag.

At last the family who was mistaken to steal jewels received the jewels from the family which actually stealed the jewels.

A never boring movie from the start to end. A must watch movie for all type of movie watchers.
