Offer that comes with the Price

He is seated in the bus stand platform. The road was as usual rushing with bikes and cars. The air and the dust particles in the wind if visible would be surprisingly intense.

He is angry about something, he feels anger on himself.

A Lamborghini car passed by. It slowed and parked on the side lane. A person stepped out of the car. He weared whites & had a smart watch that glittered in the sunlight.

He buttoned his Raymond coat and walked towards our man.

- He, mister. What's your problem? Why are you sad?

Hero - Nothing sir, just work things.

- Okay, you have a great face cut, we are looking for a support role for our film. Are you okay to take up this work.

Hero - Yeah sir. I will try it.

- Okay, let's go.

They enter the Lambo car. It enters a film City.

- I'm Ashish. I'm handle the production related activities.

- oh okay sir. I'm Sarvesh, I work here at IT.

A - Let's get in..

They get down the car and enter the film City. The security gaurd salutes both of them.

He notes the hero, who is new there. He says asks his friend.

Who is this?.

His friend - who knows, he looks great, must be his family friend.

A - Sarvesh, here is our team. These are trained actors. They will be guiding you from now onwards.

S - okay sir, thanks. See you.

There are nearly a gang of 15 people, staring at him.

One person gives hand.

- Hi I'm Arika. I'm doing my masters in mass com. Ashish got me in for acting.

- Hello. Nice. Same here. I work in IT, came here because of him.

Some people discuss within themselves. They pass comments and laugh inside their circles.

One person comes in.

- Hi, I'm Sam. Here for acting. Been trying for 15 years. Got in because of sheer hardwork, without any background.

- Hi, sounds inspiring. Don't mistake me to take your position. I'm here to just for the supporting position.

Sam - okay then. But try to understand the work first. Everyday we stand in front of a rectangular shaped machine which transports us to the larger screen. It's not an easy task.

The price for a mistake here is high. From your side, other actor side, from light man to camera man

Everyone needs to be in sync for this to happen. For which you must first learn the skill of convincing acting, which knows where & how to act so that it creates the effect intended on screen.

Sarvesh - Great. I sounds much of information for a newbie. But I will try to catch up

Sam - Here everyone wants the lime light. Here lime light is to be seen by a camera. The lengendary people behind the camera who operates it, the artistic value it carries with it are a bonus. So decide to face betrayals, collective failure, discouragement, hurt from others.

Sam - Not anyone can have the opportunity to be on the screen to be visible all over the world. For this you must have it within you or develop the talent required. Even though you develop it, there are people here to stop you, remove you out of the game, even cause harm to you.

Sarvesh - In IT we have job security. Here I think this is the most physically and mentally taxing and unsafe job to be in I think.

Sam - Yes, but look at the other end. The lime light you get. You could earn in crores and get paid daily, keeping stake - peace, privacy, freedom.


Sarvesh - Yeah sounds too daunting. I think I should reconsider my choice.

Sam - See it's ok if you are being a small part. But be careful when major roles come. They might bring more pressure, more criticism from public especially.

Sarvesh - Okok. I will leave for today.. bye

Sarvesh books a auto to his pg where he stays. He gets a call.

- hello who is this.?
- hi, I'm Arika, we met at the film city right.
- yes.
- I got your number from Ashish. We have a schedule starting from next month. Can I add your name in this list.

- I have to think about it Arika. I think I would not easily adapt to acting as it requires great work from our side to tune in.

- Yeah, Ashish asked me to train you. We will train for a month and go for shoot next month.

- Hmm okay then. I will give it a try, let's see.

Sarvesh changes his mind to give it a try, he doesn't want to move on easily from a thought he thinks he can do it.

He will try and may succeed at it. At the end, if he has to be present or edited out is not his choice.

His choice was to give his 100% but will it be enough is ?

Carried that high weighted books on his hands and walked down the staircase carrying the bunch of books on his way to the classroom. The film showcases the life of a bar dancer, it shows a group of dancers who are performing the dance, this alone gives the audience time to decide the flavour of the film and decide to stop or continue. It hides nothing. It shows the audience what is considered private moments, we usually see these on the middle or second half of a film, meaning it explores the life of common people.
